The case file

What we built for Hogie's Towing.

Hogie's Towing provides 24/7 towing and roadside help from Armstrong across Vernon, Enderby, Salmon Arm, and the North Okanagan. Its customers are rarely browsing casually. They are dealing with a breakdown, lockout, flat tire, or recovery situation and need help quickly.

We designed the website around urgent local intent. The phone number, service area, and core services are easy to identify immediately, while individual service content explains towing, recovery, boosts, lockouts, and tire changes without slowing the customer down.

The Astro and TypeScript build keeps the site quick on mobile and dependable without a heavy plugin stack. The finished experience gives stranded drivers a direct route to a local operator and gives Hogie's a stronger search presence throughout its service area.

The brief

The problem, and how we solved it.

Challenge

A towing website has only a few seconds to communicate availability, location, and the right way to request help. It also needs to compete for urgent searches across several North Okanagan communities.

Solution

We placed immediate contact actions and service coverage at the top of the experience, then supported them with focused local service content. The lightweight front end helps the site open quickly when a customer is on a roadside connection.

Problems solved

What was in the way.

Three concrete problems on the old experience, and the fixes we shipped.

  1. Stranded drivers could waste time looking for a phone number or confirming service availability.

Prominent click-to-call actions and 24/7 messaging make the next step clear from every key page.

  2. One general service page could not address every roadside need.

Separate content explains towing, recovery, boosts, lockouts, and tire changes in plain language.

  3. The company served several communities but lacked clear local search coverage.

Service-area content connects Hogie's with Armstrong, Vernon, Enderby, Salmon Arm, and the wider North Okanagan.
