The case file

What we built for Nor-Tec®.

Nor-Tec® manufactures placer gold wash plants for mining operations, with production models ranging from the GM-10 through the GM-250. Each buyer is evaluating throughput, operating context, equipment fit, and financing, making the website an important early-stage sales tool.

We organized the product line so buyers can move from a broad understanding of Nor-Tec's manufacturing capability to the model that matches their operation. Specifications and financing information are presented as practical decision support rather than disconnected marketing claims.

The Astro, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS build gives the manufacturer a fast, durable product platform. It communicates industrial capability clearly, supports detailed equipment enquiries, and leaves room for future models, applications, and technical resources.

Placer mining buyers are often comparing GM-series models against each other, since the naming and financing structure is specific to Nor-Tec. Keeping model pages consistent in format means a buyer moving from a GM-50 to a GM-100 page finds the same categories of information in the same order, which speeds up an already technical comparison.

The brief

The problem, and how we solved it.

Challenge

The GM-10 through GM-250 models serve different scales of placer operation, and buyers need to understand those distinctions quickly. The website also had to support serious equipment purchases where financing and direct consultation matter.

Solution

We created a model-led catalog with consistent product information and visible enquiry paths. Financing receives a clear place in the buying journey, while the lightweight front end keeps specifications accessible from remote work locations.

Problems solved

What was in the way.

Three concrete problems on the old experience, and the fixes we shipped.

  1. Model names alone did not explain which wash plant suited a particular operation.

Consistent model pages organize capacity, application, and equipment details for easier comparison.

  2. Financing information was separate from the product evaluation process.

Financing prompts are placed alongside relevant model and sales content.

  3. Mining buyers needed dependable access to equipment details from varied locations.

The Astro front end minimizes overhead and makes core specifications easy to load on mobile devices.
