Edison Motors

Edison Motors came to us with a problem most companies would envy: an audience growing faster than their digital infrastructure could handle. With a YouTube following in the hundreds of thousands and a movement-like community behind their diesel-electric hybrid trucks, every product announcement and merch drop sent a wall of traffic at a storefront that needed to stay up, stay fast, and feel as serious as the engineering behind it.
We rebuilt their site on Astro with a WooCommerce backend, splitting the heavy commerce logic from the marketing pages so the parts of the site people actually browse render almost instantly. Product pages, EV conversion-kit information, and merch were reorganized around how their community actually shops, and the whole build was deployed on a global edge network so a video going live never translates into a slow checkout.
The result is a storefront that absorbs traffic spikes without flinching, loads in well under two seconds on mobile, and presents Edison as the credible Canadian clean-tech manufacturer it is — not a hobby project. As the catalog and dealer programs expand, the architecture is built to grow with them.
How it was built.
