Monashee Garage Doors is a family-run garage door company based in Armstrong, BC, installing, repairing, and tuning up overhead doors across the North and Central Okanagan and the Shuswap. Owner Josh Strother started on garage doors with his dad in high school and has spent more than a decade in the local trade, and he and his wife Haley started the company to run it on the old school values he grew up with. Josh was named the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce 2024 Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and the business took Bronze for Best Home Services in the Best of Kelowna 2025 Awards.
We replaced the company's WordPress site with a fast Astro build on Cloudflare Workers, organized around the three jobs customers call about: new garage door installation, repairs on doors and motors, and maintenance and tune-ups. Product guidance covers Canadian-made Steel-Craft doors, German-engineered Hörmann doors, and LiftMaster openers.
The homepage opens on a cinematic, scroll-driven hero, then moves straight into proof: before and after photos from real Monashee jobs, the family crew by name, community awards, chamber memberships, a look inside the Steel-Craft warehouse, and the latest posts from the company's Instagram. A call, text, or book online dock follows visitors on every page, and online requests go straight into the company's Jobber client hub.
Before launch the site went through a full search and AI-answer audit. One structured-data graph describes the business, its seventeen service-area communities, the team, and its awards, while a matching FAQ, an llms.txt summary, and redirects from the old site's URLs help search engines and AI assistants pick up the new site cleanly.
